It’s Not Goodbye…It’s THANK YOU

It’s not every day that you have a boss who is not only friendly but encouraging, and it’s not every day that a colleague leaves who has truly made an impact on an organisation.  Think about it – people come and go but how often have they really made their mark on the company and left a legacy that will last for years to come?

Well, today is the day that we bid farewell to our fearless leader, Project Manager Mark Ellison, who is one of those special, almost mythical people who is both a joy to work for and who makes the office fun. While we’re so proud of Mark for pursuing his dreams and taking on new challenges in a country that seems worlds away, it would be a lie to say that we’re not going to deeply feel his absence.

Mark has shaped the Travelfusion website into what it is today and painstakingly sought out the great talent and personalities that make up our current team.  He’s built the foundation for great teamwork and progress that will continue even after he’s gone.

But before he goes, we wanted to pay tribute to Mark and celebrate the good times we’ve had.

From building snow-”things” on the office terrace in the dead of winter…

…to launching a slick new site in early Spring…

…and being nominated already for AWARDS for said slick site in the early summer!

Mark, we raise our glass to you and thank you for your leadership and for making Travelfusion such a great place to work! It’s definitely not goodbye, but more like “see you soon,” because the team won’t be the same without you!

    When you're feeling blue, just look to Mr Beaver and think of me. Then all your problems will be solved, rainbows will burst from your mouth, and you will find nuggets of gold in places where you wouldn't expect to find nuggets.
