One of the oldest civilisation centres in the Middle East, the country of Yemen is one with much historical and cultural heritage and is also home to beautiful landscape. Having been ruled by many different dynasties and nations in the past, Yemen’s geographical location nestled between the Red and Arabian seas made it an important part of ancient trading and commerce.
Pictured here is Yemeni capital Sana’a, located high in the mountains and is not only one oldest continually inhabited cities in the world, but its also been honoured as a UNESCO Heritage Site. It looks like a slice right out of history and I’d love to visit one day!
