This week we’ve been searching our favourite blogs and websites for sunny, beachy destinations and trip ideas and we’ve come up with quite a few to share with you!  Maybe it has to do with the changing of the seasons and the changing of the hour here in London, but we’re craving some sunshine…here are some of the best spots to soak up the sun and relax along the coastline!

Isabelle’s Travel Guide is a great place to find more information and tips on travel to a huge variety of destinations around the world.  One of her favourite places to go is the Caribbean and she shares ideas on good stops in the Dominican Republic and other surrounding areas.  The city that makes me the most ready to hop on a plane is Punta Cana, a beach-side city located on both the Caribbean and Atlantic Seas that is a popular tourist spot.  A winter get-away to this paradise starts at £620 return from London….go see for yourself!

Tezza’s Beaches and Islands blog highlights a variety of breathtaking beaches in Thailand and surrounding areas.  Just looking at some of the ideas in her beach index, I’m immediately taken away and daydreaming of relaxing next to the crystal-blue waters.  Travel to Bangkok for only £388 return and bounce around easily from beach to beach to enjoy all that Thailand has to offer.

Guincho Beach – Portugal Pictures

For a more active but closer-to-home destination, we’ve chosen the beautiful Portuguese Guincho Beach, not far from Lisbon.  Popular with surfers, the beach also provides gorgeous views and plenty of room to sunbathe and relax.  Escape to Lisbon for only £49 return and experience Guincho beach and the Portuguese sunshine for yourself!
